It is a parental responsibility towards your children to raise them so that they are beyond the reach of gods, demigods, dogma and myth so that they may be protected from the fraud and deception of it.
Why? Because it is the right of your children.
The most basic of human rights any child should expect along with being fed, cleaned and cared for is to provide for them the ability to protect themselves from charlatans and those who wish to exploit them. As the child you have this right - a right that is stripped away from you without consent through inculcation into one form or another of religious belief.
Religion has so protected itself in our society that child trafficking, child abuse, clerical sexual and other abuses of children have become global issues. The child has a clear right to be protected even in the matter of religion, our failure in that shows through the children grab by religions whose sole focus in regards children is their ownership and their mind.
Children are whisked from the arms of mothers or stolen into the adoption trade, others are irrevocably consigned to religious sects. No law enforcement, politician or community leader can openly act against these things in the true spirit of a democratic and lawful society, no open community wide debate is permitted on the right of a child to be raise free from inculcation until they reach 16 or 18 years of age.
No child who is raised in such a manner can ever truthfully claim to have had this basic human right protected by their parents. This right to freedom of choice at 18 does not exist as they have been traded to a particular sect. In the case of Christianity this could be inculcation into one of the more than 3000 sects of Christianity; Islam and Judaism have equally large numbers of sects, only one of which can be the one true faith. Regardless all individually claim ownership to the absolute truth of what they follow - none can provide a single piece of scientific evidence that does not rely upon opinion or interpretation.
For that one true church there should be no difficulty today in coming up with a suitable example to show clearly to the world the fruits of their beliefs; they could for example focus prayer for the next 2 years into having their god build a city to house and sustain the homeless of Africa and Asia or perhaps turn the worlds deserts into lush, productive farm land. This would be more than sufficient to convert the most skeptical among us; alternatively many would accept something like a no cost pollution and harm free energy solution; a set of controls that would permit us to manage the globe, its environment and management. All these are simple enough. None of them are really big ticket items and few of the many sects can come together enough to put aside their differences of opinion to work on one such example in the coup of a lifetime in this battle they have for ownership. A battle which sets in train the need to claim immediate and lifelong ownership of the minds of our children as soon after birth as possible.
Every child has the right to be raised so that they are beyond the reach of gods, demigods, dogma and myth so that they may be protected from the fraud and deception of it and so they may freely formulate their own opinion upon reaching 18 years of age. No parent, no church, no religion and no government has the right to take away this right of the child whether it is inscribed in law or not.
We live today in a global community that has enshrined in all areas of its remit the false claim to the right of parents to inculcate their children in their choice of religion. No authority has the right to take this freedom of choice away from any human child.
The right for an individual to freely practice their religion of choice if fully held; it is simply the right of the child to have their right to remain free of religious constraints, doctrines or practices until they are 18.
There can be no right of free choice wile inculcation continues. Those inculcated in such a manner have a genuine right to claim against all areas of the functions of a religion as to have been complicit in the inculcation of children against their right to not be bound in any manner to anything other than themselves until the age of 18.
