Were you living in Yea or do you have connections with anyone who may have lived or had involvement there from 1948 onwards?

I am a survivor of abuse by Catholic clergy; I have made statements toPolice and to the Royal Commission. My name is John Brown. My familylived directly across the road from the Catholic Church on The Parade. I was first sexually molested by nuns at the convent when I was 3 and ahalf years of age; my abuse went on until I was 8 years of age.

I am looking for people who may have even a snippet of recollectionabout abuse in the Catholic church or school or info of otherindividuals who may have experienced abuse or may have  information that we can use in a suit against these child abusers or as support forothers coming forward.

I have tried a number of times to engage the current editor of the Yea Chronicle to tell my story and just like when I was a child the doorsclosed then and they do it still.http://www.mybrokensociety.com/Contacting-the-Yea-Chronicle-2014

I have documented previous attempts to engage with individuals in office in Yea over the years - each of these documented contacts failed toprogress.

I remember Eames doing RE at the highschool.  I am amazed that they sent at least two perverts to Yea - Eames and Pidoto. The real numbers in the church must be scary. I was also abused at 8 years of age by the notorious paedophile KevinO'Donnell a Catholic priest who was in Seymour at the time and onlyvisited Yea as one of the many locations he visited so that he couldcontinue to rape children unfettered for many more years since myexperience of him around 1956 right through to the Fosters daughtersmany many years later and so many others still hidden and covered up.The Church were fully aware of my abuse as Herbie Kemp was also a member of the Knights of the Southern Cross and he went in to bat for me andmy mother after O'Donnell abused me.

Yes. Bill Ellison (amongst others) was right in the thick of it - thatis why I quit working at the Chronicle even though I had not finished my apprenticeship as I overheard he and Tom Dignam conspiring to cover upmy abuse and the abuse of other Catholic children in Yea that they wereboth aware of.

Not to me - I lived under that bastards rule and accusations of whatever he needed to control me and as a way of shutting me down when my sister was molested by Des Cameron. Bill Ellison effectively refused to act on it as a police matter and did it through his connection with theKnights of the Southern Cross - he was a member of the KoSC of courseand there was the issue of the murder of Herbie Kemp who was kicked andbeaten when he stepped in to intervene with my sisters molestation in1962 - he died 8 days later - his Will was changed to benefit the church or the clergyman Cameron.

My mother broke down as there was not a single person in her environment who would stand up and support her in protecting her children fromthose rapists.

Recently through some of my activities I was in touch with a reporterwho went to Rome (Ballarat - family roots here) and I am reading of myconnection with the white invasion of the country - one day I hope toexperience the same justice other Australians have as a right but it isnot happening yet (Link to full conversation with MC)

Any directions or contacts who can assist with info, further contacts or financial are all in need as in their usual way anyone who steps upspeaks the truth will be shunned and rejected under the guidance of thebishop and local clergy and those who ignorantly remain to support thecover up of these abuses right across the world.
