TFYQA.biz project-specific provisions
These provisions should be read together with the common Copyright, Data Sovereignty, Preservation and Research Use statement published by Trauma in Religion:

TFYQA.biz provides technical, evidentiary and research-support infrastructure associated with the wider Trauma in Religion, Blue•Print and Personal Sovereignty projects.
This may include Evidence Maps, source indexing, provenance records, document relationships, structured datasets, restricted or token-controlled material, and tools intended to help a person organise, examine and support their own record.
The fact that material is stored, processed, indexed or referenced by a TFYQA.biz system does not make that material public and does not itself authorise publication, disclosure or research use.
Unless otherwise credited, original public material published by TFYQA.biz is protected by applicable copyright law, including the Copyright Act 1968 (Cth).
This may include original text, graphics, software code, page design, structured compilations, Evidence Map presentation, multimedia and other original material.
Third-party documents, correspondence, records, images, publications and other source material remain subject to the rights of their respective authors, creators or rights-holders.
Inclusion of third-party material in an Evidence Map or evidentiary record does not transfer copyright in that source material to TFYQA.biz.
TFYQA.biz treats provenance as an important part of the evidentiary record.
Where practicable, source relationships, dates, document identity, record history and other provenance information should be preserved so that a statement or conclusion can be traced back to the material from which it arose.
Users must not knowingly remove, falsify or misrepresent provenance, attribution, source identity, access-control information or evidentiary relationships.
The existence of a source in an Evidence Map does not mean that TFYQA.biz adopts every statement contained in that source as true. A source may be retained because it records what a person, institution or document said at a particular time.
Private, restricted, token-controlled or embargoed material is not public material.
Access to such material does not create permission to:
• republish it;
• redistribute it;
• provide it to another person;
• use it for research;
• use it for training an AI or automated system; or
• remove or defeat access controls.
Permission must arise from the rights-holder, contributor or other person authorised to control that material.
Material created or deposited by a user remains subject to that person's rights and permissions unless a separate agreement expressly provides otherwise.
Storage in TFYQA.biz does not by itself transfer:
• copyright;
• ownership of the source material;
• publication rights;
• authority to quote;
• authority to disclose; or
• authority to use the material for research.
The intended model is that the person whose material is being preserved can, where the relevant function exists, choose to keep, review, preserve, export, selectively share, contribute to research, or delete that material.
TFYQA.biz may provide technical infrastructure used by the Blue•Print Vault, Personal Sovereignty or related survivor record systems.
A private source record remains governed by the permissions attached to that record, regardless of which technical system stores or processes it.
• a private Blue•Print Vault record does not become public because TFYQA.biz processes or indexes it;
• a Personal Sovereignty response does not become research data merely because TFYQA.biz provides storage or analytical infrastructure; and
• a research contribution should be a separately authorised contribution rather than a back door into a person's private Vault or questionnaire history.
TFYQA.biz supports the wider project objective of preserving knowledge held by survivor/victims that might otherwise be fragmented, lost, ignored or never captured by institutional records.
Preservation may include source relationships, chronology, evidentiary context and a person's own account.
Preservation does not by itself authorise publication, disclosure, quotation or research use.
Private TFYQA.biz material is not automatically available for research.
Where a research-contribution facility is offered, a person may separately choose to contribute selected material for secure preservation and possible future research.
Such a contribution may include selected structured data, source relationships, questionnaire responses, event records, reflections or other material for which the contributor has given appropriate permission.
A research copy should remain logically and, where appropriate, technically separate from the contributor's private source record.
A preserved research collection may remain securely stored even where no immediate researcher or research project exists.
The existence of such a collection does not create an entitlement to access.
Future researchers may be considered for access only where their proposed use is consistent with the permissions under which the material was contributed and where they meet the ethical, privacy, security, competence and research-purpose requirements applicable at that time.
Access conditions may include:
• a legitimate and clearly stated research purpose;
• appropriate ethical review where required;
• suitable qualifications, expertise or institutional accountability;
• secure information handling;
• use only for an approved purpose;
• no attempt to identify or re-identify a contributor;
• no unauthorised onward disclosure;
• publication and quotation safeguards; and
• compliance with the consent and permissions attached to the contributed material.
Removing a person's name does not necessarily make a detailed survivor record anonymous.
Dates, places, institutions, unusual events, quotations, source combinations and other indirect identifiers may make a person recognisable.
For that reason, TFYQA.biz may use de-identification, controlled access, aggregation, masking, pseudonymisation or other safeguards rather than assuming that all personal material can be made completely anonymous.
Attempts to identify or re-identify a contributor from de-identified research material are prohibited unless expressly authorised for a legitimate purpose under an approved process.
Public TFYQA.biz material may be viewed and used for reasonable private study, education, commentary or other non-commercial purposes where permitted by law, provided that the source is acknowledged, context is not materially distorted, and private or restricted material is not accessed or redistributed without permission.
Publicly available material may be shared or quoted for legitimate public-interest purposes, including work directed toward understanding institutional misconduct, protecting children or improving outcomes for survivor/victims, to the extent permitted by law and these terms.
Attribution and source context should be preserved.
This permission does not extend to private, token-controlled, restricted or embargoed material.
Except where permitted by law or by explicit written permission, unauthorised bulk extraction, scraping, automated harvesting, commercial data aggregation or use of TFYQA.biz material to train AI systems or automated content-generation systems is prohibited.
Material deliberately submitted for public publication is different from evidence, background material or private records supplied for storage, review or support.
Where material is knowingly submitted for publication, the contributor may grant TFYQA.biz a non-exclusive licence sufficient for the agreed publication, hosting and archival preservation of that published work.
Supporting or background material should be clearly identified and should not be assumed to have been submitted for publication merely because it was provided in support of a published item.
Publication permission does not automatically extend to unrelated private material or future research use.
Unauthorised attempts to access, alter, damage, destroy, interfere with, extract, corrupt or misrepresent TFYQA.biz systems, records, provenance information, evidence or access controls may be investigated and referred to appropriate authorities where warranted.
TFYQA.biz material is provided for historical, evidentiary, educational, technical and informational purposes.
An Evidence Map or source record may contain disputed, incomplete, inconsistent or third-party material. Its preservation does not necessarily amount to endorsement of every statement contained in it.
Information provided through TFYQA.biz is not a substitute for independent legal, medical, psychological, research, forensic or other professional advice.
These provisions are governed by the laws applicable in Queensland, Australia, together with applicable Commonwealth law.
Nothing in these provisions is intended to exclude or limit a right or obligation that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
