Melbourne Archdiocese Vicar General Les Tomlinson awarded with the TFYQA PLAQUE
Melbourne Archdiocese Vicar General Les Tomlinson told the National Catholic Reporter that although there was no reason to disbelieve the allegations, they could not be substantiated. He told the US weekly magazine that since Gotcha published details of the case he had been contacted by psychologists who advised him to regard memories of ritual abuse "with great criticism.' He also claimed the Archdiocese was not aware of other complaints involving ritual abuse. from

TFYQA: Naturally the Vicar General should take the advice of these un-named psychologists, naturally he would be doing the wrong thing to disclose those sources.
THE TFYQA PLAQUE
was awarded to
Melbourne Archdiocese Vicar General Les Tomlinson
on July, 27, 2006
for his lack of support of abuse victims
and
his attempts to cast doubt on the Commissioners findings.
TFYQA will be presenting several other awards in the future. We have several nominations for plaques with the following being put forward.
- The CYA Award (A speciality of the those who lived together for some time, however none ever realised what the others were like - I was steeped in prayer, the thought never crossed my mind. "Cover your rs")
- God Smacked (Awarded to those who fall into biblical and other religious speak thus avoiding the need to answer the question and leaving those around them "God smacked".
