Supports Groups for Institutional Abuse

Description: This is the list that presently exists for support groups here in Ireland - in alphabetical order:

This is the list that presently exists for support groups here in Ireland - in alphabetical order:

Aishling Centre

Alliance Group

Irish Survivors Of Institutional Abuse

Justice For Healing

London Irish Women Support group

Right Of place

Right Of Peace

Soca Of Ireland

Soca Of England

South East Survivors Association

True Survivors Of Institutional Abuse

Some of the very genuine groups from this list and others not recognized by the Irish State, receive no funding from any quarter that includes Government, HSE, religious or otherwise and are the unsung heroes of this whole debacle. They are not looking for sainthood either. They also do not hide behind the fine print of complicated charity companies designed for secrecy and self profit. The money that Noel Barry has been able to accumulate for himself and his close associates, and indeed other groups, has been got through this route. His associates will in time prove to be not so close to him when they find that the money is gone and they have to answer for his and their own actions. Other new groups propose colourful alternate names as follows:

Ancy Centre

Alligator group

Crocodile tears group

Left of place

Left Of peace

South West  Survivors Association

North, South and East  Survivors Associations

Non members support group

UnTrue  Survivors Of Institutional Abuse

And others coming on board fast........................

The birth of some groups were born out of genuine delusion and frustration from members of the other groups, and even some of them are genuine soldiers, but they are few and far between. This simply cannot go on and will not be allowed to, and in the end represents nobody. At its best intentions, it can only work on a local and minute parochial level anyway. It is also tearing down slowly but surely any monies due to survivors of the larger picture.Along with this fiasco we have trust funds set up by those that are the least to be trusted, and this  alongside so called educational funds that only supports begging resulting in piecemeal handouts.

This problem is universal for life repeats itself everywhere

There is hope, YOU ! !

This one harmonizes with much over here - Pell (and his followers and many of those affected through his actions) are all "moving towards ...." something - only they do not know which direction to go as they simply do not know what they are moving towards --- it is the most indefinate way to refer to something - If you end up with a name like that (Pell is great at creating Quangos with wonderfully long sounding names - (these end up as some obedient catholic housewife answering a phone number for an 'organization' she knows nothing about  - one woman in the US did not know haw many of those she was answering for - she told me she just said yes to whatever name the people asked about) - the bishop has had his public fanfare and press coverage - the church is seen to be active - takes about 8 or 9 months for most of them to end up as as 1 person phone answering failure.

That and naming survivors as a "Victims Collective" - makes me want to puke -- Towards or Moving towards are Pell special words.

The agenda of many survivor groups comes from some Catholic woman who is so outraged and so compartmentalized with her own abuse, so deluded in religiosity and so offended and shocked that she has resorted in her silent anger and rage to gathering together the abused and harmed and use them as ammunition in her battle with what she was not able to beat or better herself (that which abused her - the church and its clerics) - victims only become an accessory or means to get at the hierarchy or church structure or to get even with those in the parish who scorned her - the job of these women running "Victims Groups" would be much more convenient if survivors came to them with a bomb laden body belt and a fuse to which the "Group Leader" is the holder of the trigger. These are the Christian equivalent of those Muslim people who train and send out suicide bombers.

To my understanding there have been few that the church has ever been concerned about - SNAP (now) is making the right noises and is doing the right thing more easily (still a bit prissy in some ways yet).

It is through engagement and involvement in those groups who have been formed with this agenda in the background which causes serious harm and psychological damage to many - they are dangerous simply because they are still operating as they have been deceived into - compartmentalization and forgiveness cannot peacefully co-exist with rage and anger. There are few outcomes from these groups which do not fail to provide an advantage or greater leverage to the church hierarchy and their minions.

Many of these women it seems have been ostracized within their Catholic communities - they can often be categorized as silently raging and angry women - this underscores the 'motivation' that we hear of when we speak about women offering their children to their abusers (they want to be (re)included, to be 're-embraced' by their church - their abuser) - that is one clear way of identifying the failures is that there is a trend of offering the ability to 're-embrace' their religion/church. Survivors are re abused over and over again via these type of 'support groups'.

Look out for long sounding, wonderful sounding names of 'independent' commissions - that will be the Pell influence at work.
