Description: McCormack victim to get $1.65 million

In July, McCormack was sentenced to a five-year prison sentenceafter pleading guilty to molesting boys at St. Agatha Parish and OurLady of the Westside School, now called Saint Agatha Catholic Academy.
Steven Dicker said his client, now 15, was molested by thepriest between 2001 and 2005. At the time, the boy was a student of theschool and a member of the basketball team that the priest coached, hesaid.
He praised the boy for speaking out.
Cardinal Francis George released a statement in response to the settlement.
"My prayers go out to this young person and his family as well as my hope for healing," he said.
