Mr Down pleaded guilty to offences involving three boys but denied sevencharges relating to the alleged indecent dealing and sexual assault of anotherboy between 1982 and 1985.
Under intense questioning yesterday, the 35-year-old man making theallegations, who cannot be named, denied his allegations were motivated bymoney.
"I'm not motivated by compensation, I'm motivated by justice," he said.
He previously told the court he was abused on three occasions after Mr Downheld him back after class.
Later yesterday the alleged victim's brother, whom Mr Down has admittedabusing, told the jury he had attended camps with the accused.
"Brother Down asked all of us boys to strip naked because he wanted to washus all down for ticks," the man said.
The trial continues today.
