Former Kununurra FESA regional co-ordinator Graeme JamesDown, 55, has pleaded guilty in the Perth District Court to child sexcharges.
The alleged incidents took place more than 20 years ago.
Down was a member of the Christian Brothers order at the time.
He left the order in 1999 after having worked in Broome and Halls Creek.
Hepleaded guilty on Monday to indecently dealing with three boys while hewas a teacher at St Mark's College in the Perth suburb of Bedford inthe early 1980s. However, he denied abusing a fourth boy in 1982 and1983.
Down faced six counts of indecent dealings and one count of carnal knowledge.
One35-year-old victim, who the prosecution alleged was 10 and 11 at thetime of the offences, broke down repeatedly while giving evidence viaclosed circuit television yesterday.
The witness was so overcome by emotion during his evidence that at one stage he said: "I can't do this."
Oncehe regained his composure, he told the court how Down had held him backafter class on three occasions for being disruptive, bullying anotherstudent and to discuss a test.
"I stayed behind and that's when he put his left hand towards my groin," the man said, referring to the first incident.
He recalled, on another occasion, the accused abusing him while wearing a cross on his collar.
At the time, Down was a religious teacher.
The witness said Down had pulled his shorts down and touched him inappropriately.
He had been forced to perform oral sex as well as being sexually penetrated by Down.
Prosecutor Brent Meertens said the victim had been scared, ashamed and thought no one would believe him.
"When the complainant asked (Down) why (he was being abused), he said he had been a bad boy and this was his punishment."
At the time of going to press the trial was continuing.
