A 45-year-old man has been charged with sexually abusing four young girls he knew through a West Australian country church.
The man has been charged with sex offences against the four girls, then aged between nine and 15 years, between1976 and 1989, police said today.
"Detectives will allege the man sexually abused the girls while he and his victims were associated with a country church,'' police said in a statement.
Investigating officers are conducting inquiries to determine if there are other victims.
Officers said the man was charged with ten counts of indecently dealing with a child under 13 years, three counts of indecently dealing with a child aged between 13 and 16 years, and seven counts of sexually penetrating a child under 13 years.
He is due to appear in Merredin Magistrate's Court on November 23.
