Catholic Diocese of Fort Worth updates priest investigations

FORTWORTH (AP) - The Catholic Diocese of Fort Worth says it has contactedthe appropriate police departments in all of the cases and is stillreviewing the allegations against formers priests.

The diocesehas been reeling after a judge last year released about 700 pages ofpreviously secret files relating to six priests accused of abusingminor. Files for a seventh priest had been sealed because the priestappealed their release.

In the release by the Reverend Michael Olson, Bishop Kevin Vann's topaide, the diocese also advised anyone who has suffered sexual abusefrom a member of the clergy to contact the church.
