Royal Commission and Survivor Focus

Description: It is up to the Royal Commission to get that ball rolling on this as soon as possible and it is up to the Royal Commission that

My thoughts today take me to the notion that it is about time that the Royal Commission thought about bringing something positive to the minds of survivors (includes those the RC calls victims!!!!). Yes we are seeing the start of the horror and there is months more of that to come. While that is necessary in this instance it is also necessary to show survivors they have a real hope that the future will address the real cause of the underlying issue of the religion so that it can be forensically examined on the basis of safety and the health and well-being of children.

That will require the Royal Commission to get that conversation under way as there are many survivors who are at risk of becoming victims again simply as a result of the continuation of the presentation of horror without hope of a resolution and the understanding that at last the real issue is beginning to be understood. (Habituation is a real risk for survivors - we too must be provide with the right stuff to sustain us through the ordeal - what we are getting today is not sufficient in that area).

Once that conversation starts I will know that there is a real chance of protecting children on an into the future - until then we are being continuously presented with repetitions of what so many have attempted to do in the past and failed and lost their lives in doing so.

It has been difficult enough in life for many having had to deal with the failing of religion when it is incapable of teaching the truth to children; it is time to move forward beyond those fears and superstitions and deal with us and the issue based on what the best of science is telling us about what it is to be human.

Along with hearing all the examples of the failures of religion and the religious we must get to hear of the knowledge and the experience of the survivors as to the cause of the problems and what realistic solutions there are and what they should look like - that will be helpful to many others and in particular it will provide reassurance to those who still remain hidden in fear of reprisals should they come forward to speak out; their environment is toxic and needs to be addressed as rapidly as possible.

It is up to the Royal Commission to get that ball rolling on this as soon as possible and it is up to the Royal Commission that we are provided with a safe environment. If it can not do that then it must begin the task of creating one that is free of the toxic failures of religion so a few of us can have a day or two in the one life we have that is free of these toxic failures and to protect current and future children in a safe haven away from the effects of these failed religions.

If we are not going there would you please provide me with directions as well as the missing instructions on your web site to your well planned and thought out complaint system as that appears to be the proper place to lodge my formal request to be publicly exempted and excluded from the current process until it shows that it can provide some hope for us and for our children.
