Obviously the Toowoomba Chronicle has once again failed to support survivors of childhood sexual abuse by Catholic clergy- go figure - my long history of association with them did not seem to matter today when I received a call from the Toowoomba Chronicle general manager. His concern was two fold. Firstly he assumed wrongly that I had gathered email addresses from their online newspaper.

Perhaps it is time forthem to resurrect their never to be halted push to expose pedophiles -that is so long back that I even forget the year though it is on record. If I recall correctly the headline at the time read something like Wewill not stop although it seems that when it comes to rapists if theyare dressed as clergy they somehow get to put the brakes on.

You can help out by visiting http://www.cabaction.com and leaving adonation as despite the dozens of emails to them and their reportersover the intervening years they have steadfastly remained silentalthough the bishop always appears to be able to get his version acrossas it suits him - well of course as we know that is always done on thebasis of fairness so that everyone gets a chance to hear both sides ofthe story - got that wrong also didn't they.

They are anintelligent lot it seems though despite this I was asked recently tosend them a picture that could help them to understand what they already know as it seems that is the level they felt they needed to go to get a simple basic understanding across to the editor.


Surely after all my visits to them the Toowoomba Chronicle has had a slip of memory - maybe this will help them out
