Consider this: The expression "soul murder" to describe the global experience of pedophile priest victims was first used by Catholic advocacy groups like Voice of the Faithful and A Call to Action. Suicide rates are high among the survivors of pedo-priest sex crimes. Many of the victims who do make it to adulthood are unemployable because of behavior, anger, and sexual problems. Family members of the adult victims feel the brunt of the crimes as well.
