Thank you very much for your email response. I would truly like to know how many suicides, alcoholics, drug addicts and severe mentally disabled victims are out there because of these crimes. So many must be remaining silent. I think of other boys at our church who were similar to Michael and another boy who was molested where father figures were lacking in the households. It seems that was the trend in particular for Richard Dorsch to prey upon.

How the Catholic Church seems to think they are above the law or the law does not apply to their employees is beyond me. And what is further disturbing is how people can put money in the collection plate each week knowing it goes to the stipends of pedophiles. These men simply do not stop this behavior. It is always lurking in their voided beings! The Church is giving money to monsters!! If every Catholic stood up against that: things would change!! By remaining silent is a sin in itself!

After Michael's death I wrote Bishop Zubik a letter condemning the fact as to WHY Richard Dorsch is not on Megan's Law yet he lives0.2 miles from a school!!! He said that Megan's Law does not apply to Richard Dorsch. I also wrote him about Canon Law and why they are paying a pedophile to live and how that could possibly be right. He said it is a law that cannot be changed. ANYTHING that is wrong can be made right with courage! It saddens me beyond belief.

Since Michael's death, a day has not gone by that I have not thought of my childhood and how us girls were spared this violence by the grace of God, yet our very classmates were preyed upon by a monster who wash and-picked to be among children. The trust of our parents was violated, let alone the victims most of all.

Friend of Michael want to organize some kind of protest in front of the Diocese but we don't even know where to begin with this, and obviously want to stay with the respect of the family in the midst of this lawsuit and their grief. It is never easy to go to a funeral for a young person and look a grieving mom in the eyes. My own brother died a very untimely death due to an accidental overdose, and we often wonder did he travel down that path as a result of abuse at the hands of Richard Dorsch? How many other boys were there??
