Here is a link to a story which I had to have put in the local paper.With another pedo priest leaving town backed up with heaps of lies we tried to work with the local priest to help any other victims the new Priest claimed he was sent here with no knowledge of what had gone on up here.

He agreed our stories were shocking and agreed to organize a meeting with parishioners so the parish would get an Idea of what was going on. The priest said he had to attend a meeting in Melbourne and would attend to it when he came back. When he got back the format of the meeting was changed to a healing mass but no one was allowed to talk about anything that had happened in the past.

I was active in the local Apex club and had heaps of contacts so reluctantly but with serious concern about the blatancy of the lies and the safety of our children I approached the local news paper and the theatre manager and within a 8-9 days we had this story appear and had the Movie Deliver Us From Evil screened in the local theatre. Because The current case was Sub Judici nothing could be said about it .

There was hardly anyone in this town that knew about my eye problems until the church tried to shut us up. I have heard the church say so many times that victims should be listened to ,I have heard so many apologies but the church has done absolutely nothing to change any thing to make it harder for perpetrators to move freely amongst our children. AS a matter of fact they are making it easier for them as happened in this parish last Easter when they tried to put a Priest on the altar who confessed to sodomizing a Sixteen year old boy three times. The Parishioners were asked to make this deviant welcome in their homes with out being told who this man was.
