World Child Abuse -- EXPOSED!!! Australia

Below is a narrative.
Sylvia

My name is Sylvia. In 1969, aged 17, I was groomed and sexually assaulted in the organ loft of St John's Cathedral in Brisbane, Queensland, Australia.  The organ tutor used to take advantage of the isolation of this eyrie up near the roof  to commit acts of depravity such as exposing himself, and describing orgies he had attended, often while services were being conducted in one of the chapels beneath the organ loft. He also committed statutory rape against me. In my confusion I came to believe I was in love with my abuser, and this has devastated my life, after I found out what a monster he is.

Because he is close friends with members of the Queensland judiciary, my complaints have never been acted upon. In 2002, I was sent a copy of a memo referencing this man's molestation of a 12 year old girl in the1950s. Not only is he still at large; but this man, Robert Boughen,has been decorated by the Queen with an Order of the British Empire.He is closely associated with the Royal School of Church Music. Some other organists have been implicated in abuse scandals in the Anglican Church. See the SNAP Australia website.

Since 1997 I have been complaining to the Anglican Diocese of Brisbane, about the long term consequences Boughen's behaviour had on my life. I married in haste and although I love my children, my life has been a disaster. I lost my career and have nothing, not even good health anymore. The Diocese's initial response was to tell me to withdraw my complaint from the Police. The Police subsequently accused me of making frivolous accusations when I wished to renew my complaint after the Church did nothing. In the State of Queensland, the boundaries between Church and the legislature are blurred. Paul De Jersey, Queensland Chief Justice, is also Chairman of the Diocese. Ina place where corruption is the norm, I have little hope.

Inform yourself of the global scope and scale of the sexual abuse crisis in
the Catholic church.

Understand that should your child be sexually abused by Catholic clergy they
will join the ranks of the millions who are denied an equal right to justice
in a civil court.

Catholic educated children are groomed to be availale for the use of
sexually abusive Catholic clergy.

No minimum joining age is shown to be a major contributing factor of the
global clergy abuse crisis.

The Catholic church is unable to formulate and implement a global child
safety policy nor can it provide a meaningful and appropriate response to
the global extent of the crimes of sexual abuse against children.

Catholic church laws demand secrecy from followers in regards sexual crimes.
When rape becomes an integral part of a religious system as it has done
globally within the Catholic church it is time to consider an alternative
education for your child.

Choose an education which does not engender a cover up mentality; choose an
education for your child which can teach through its actions as well as its
words.

The catholic church can offer nothing but excuses and apologies for the
sexual abuse and murder of up to 50,000 children in Canada.

Find a better role model for your children.

Exposing any child to a Catholic education can endanger their sexual safety
and their future success in life.

Those who have experienced a catholic education are well groomed and
educated for the purpose of maintaining the covering up of sexual abuses
against children - make sure it is not your child's abuse they cover up next
year.

Act responsibly,choose wisely, be informed when choosing education for your
child in 2010 and onwards.

Be a responsible parent in 2010 - put your child's safety first.
