My hope for Egypt is

My hope for Egypt is you to set into play the technologies which united you - consider open source technologies to open up government to the people, the opportunity to remove power from the hands of the politicians, corporations and foreign nations - identify your enemies as those who want to impede the rights of the people, access to information, communication and direct representation of the people - the technology is there to make this a tool for an active and continuous representation of the people, by the people and for the people. 

Egypt has shown the world the greatest fears of militaristic power and control oriented governments. You have shown the world that people when provided with a voice speak in common with those of us who abhore the controls that religion and government have forced onto their populations for their own advantage. The people of Egypt have shown clearly that people when connected can make the best possible decisions and actions for the entire community.

Many world governments and others who profit at the expense of the people will be your loudest critics when in fact they should be acting on behalf of all people across the world for we are firstly equal human beings, then we are men and women of our country, our priorities are peace, prosperity for all but before that we demand a safe and healthy environment for our children in a society that works as a community - not as a dictator or controller of power, wealth and property.

Our governments remain silent and un-supportive while those of us who seek a peaceful and fair existence free from all forms of tyranny must speaks out now and demand the open and proactive support of our government for the people of Egypt. The option of the people providing open support for the people of another country should not be taken by those who think they have control of the destiny of the world - I say I support the power of the people in Egypt and I say our government should follow that example as that is the only example on the road to peace. I support this peaceful transition of power into the rightful hands of the people.
