Christian children are conditioned to believe that upon their passing, if theydeny Jesus they shall be condemned to a place where their flesh shallburn, scorch,
...and scour from their bones as they writhe in agony for an eternaldamnation. On one hand this very merciful god who loves us all isomniscient, omnipotent, and benevolent. On the other hand this godcannot or refuses to prevent scarcity, poverty, disease, andcatastrophic disasters. God is also known to be easily angered with awrath of vengeful merciless violence throughout the scriptures.
Then there is the story of Genesis. The most revealing thing to me is notAdam and Eve versus evolution. The forbidden fruit from the tree ofknowledge reminds me of a dark time in America whereby slaves wereforbidden to become literate. Slave owners throughout history recognized ignorance as an important factor in keeping their "property" undercontrol.
What does this teach our children for accepting such aperfect and powerful god with so many contradictions and imperfections?Even if this or any other god were proven to exist how can we justifythe worship of such a cold and callous deity? Furthermore why would aperfect god have a need to be revered or even acknowledged? Replace Godand deity with government, revered with patriotism, and forbidden fruitwith education to unmask the true nature of this indoctrination.See more

...octrine. Servitude to any religion or the supernatural is destructive andcounterproductive. Phenomena must be viewed through the lens ofintelligent and well informed scientific inquiry.
This also means that one must recognize when a topic is beyond their knowledge andnever mix in political correctness or indoctrinated beliefs to explainsuch phenomena. When something is witnessed that cannot be explainedwith science they must recognize that if given enough time and researchsuch phenomena can eventually be explained. After all science is therigorous investigation of a concept in order to gain an understanding of it.See more ·
