Reporter misses two most significant events today at the Royal Commission into the Catholic Towards Healing.
Firstly the walk out by many survivors when they began to hear preaching from the Catholic representative. he preached at the audience and the Royal Commission and in doing so publicly claimed the right of god over the Royal Commission. This play traumatised many in the audience - some sat in a state of shock and we unable to escape and had to endure the full dimensions of this fantasy based hypocrisy and claims of supremacy and connection to an unprovable but entirely implausible god.
The Catholic Church stamped its claim of moral authority on to the Royal Commission.
The second event missed by The Daily Telegraph top reporter reporting on the Royal Commission when she also omitted to report on the prolonged standing ovation for the witness.
The Australian newspaper published her online at
I advised Dan Box of the Australian in the hope that he will intervene so that any future biased reporting from Janet Fife-Yoemans can be publicly known to not be reporting the full story and in fact she is to be seen to be reporting in a way that is supportive of the Catholic Church and not supportive of survivors and victims.
In doing that she is being seen as attempting to defend and to minimise and to conflate and to under report from the survivors perspective.
