That a commissioner has a belief in a god is of no concern to me

That a commissioner has a belief that this god created the universe is of no concern to me

-------------------------------------------------------------------------- My line is drawn here as for anything that follows from the above notion there is a requirement to provide evidence for that claim.

That a commissioner has a belief that this creator god has some form of connection with the Bible, the Catholic Church, the Vatican, the Holy See, the Anglican Church, the Salvation Army or any of the religions of Christianity which hold with this belief as it is represented here then I do have concerns. Concerns over reasonable boundaries and over boundaries of reason.

The presence of the Christian Bible (or any other religious book) is making the claim that there is a connection between the perception of a creator and the role of Christianity in our world.

There is no evidence to support the claim of connection.

There is no plausible reason for having a connection from the Royal Commission to the creator of the universe via the Christian religion. In order to have that connection become a part of the Royal Commission I ask that the Royal Commission provide suitably valid and verifiable evidence for this connection together with a statement of the reason for the need of such a connection in its inquiry.

Without evidence to support the position the abeyance shown by the Royal Commission through permitting a book of religion to be used as a moral guide upon which to arrive at the truth is quite simply absurd.

In the confines of the Royal Commission hearing rooms the claims of the Christian Bible are seen as the very definition of truth and justice when simply reading from the book also makes this an absurdity.

The reality is that there is a dual system in operation, one which caters to the religion of those who carried out the abuses versus the number of abused who no longer remain in the grip of this fraudulent deception as their escape from the abuses has required them to face the horrors of their abuse in the most critical of ways. The outcome of that confrontation of beliefs and reality brings them no joy to point out that the entire system of religion is the root cause of the child abuse that the Commission is investigating.
