How much more do we stretch the divide between the work of the laity and that of the clergy as if we can be split into body and soul? Our cell phones are jammed with serial jokes painful jokes about nakaw and magnanakaw and true lies on the end of kahirapan and the beginning of ginhawa. How long can we laugh our troubles away?
How long can the official Church remain in the sacristy? It will be a sad day when what the bishops say or do not say, do or not do, will be treated as non-issues.
