With the Mary Mack Banner I chose the words very carefully and they were 'Mary Mack Patron Saint of those who Suffer from Clergy Sexual Abuse'

Because I have never been happy with the words clergy sexual abuse survivor/s.

After last weeks posts from so many Sufferers I would like to suggest that we use the word suffer / sufferers to describe our selves.

I have heard quite a few sufferers of C.S.A refer to their Life sentence and they are not surviving in it comfortably they are suffering years later and as Denis Hart said in his Claytons apology he had one C.S.A Sufferer come forward after 80 years.

We have Hay fever Sufferers we have Bronchitis Sufferers We have people who suffer from Ezema, and so on and suffer is what we do. I think if we could make this small change to our thinking we would all gain by being honest to ourselves.

I have run this Idea by a Pshychologist who thinks it is a move in the right direction Chrissie foster and Roy agree with my way of thinking don't know whether I should run it by George or no?. I would be interested in your opinions Clergy Sexual Abuse Survivors or the more honest sufferer/s/suffer.
