MALE SURVIVOR v "ITS NOT JUST MEN WHO ARE SURVIVORS"

Crusader Chronicles and helpers have spent a bit of timelooking at the rather interesting, well researched clinical informationavailable on a site for male survivors of sexual abuse...which articlebears ar really striking resemblance to one on " Nikki's Blog" at theSurvivors Australia website page. ...so striking a resemblance, in factthat those of us with a trained keen eye for copy and detail decided totake a closer look.

The Survivors Australia version of this interesting paper onthe effects of sexual abuse on males, was posted on "Nikki's Blog" on31st January 2012, together with other research that Nikki appeared tobe attempting to attribute to her own efforts, (since none of thearticles, initially, carried any attributions to their originalprofessional authors). Since, at the time, Survivors Australia wascollaborating with Dr. Jodi Death at QUT Surveying survivors on theeffects of their sexual abuse, the seemingly obvious plagiarisms werereported to Dr. Death as a board member of Survivors Australia and as an academic who stated that she dealt with the issue of plagiarism withher own students on a regular basis...so this was the best course ofaction.

Not a good look for Survivors' public image to be foundcommitting what, at least in the good old days, was an offence thatcould result in a student being either expelled from University or atleast severely disciplined or suspended.

Most of the articles to which attention was brought and forwhich some references were supplied by us, were either quickly amendedor deleted from the blog after the intervention of Dr. Jodi Death toprotect the credibility of Nikki' Blog...(but not before they werephotographed and catalogued by Crusader Chronicles)....just in case wewere accused of lying and wanting to cause trouble for no reason and/orwere threatened with...this and that...as has so often occurredpreviously on pointing out things that...were not exactly a good look. ( In retrospect I suppose we should have butted out and let Survivorsmake fools of themselves...but some of us were members and sympathisersand did not want 'our' organisation to look bad.)

UNFORTUNATELY - the "simple fix" applied to what was regarded by Dr. Death as "NOT a major drama", was not as efficacious as hoped.

This article on male sexual abuse seems to have escapeddetection, maybe because it has been really painstakingly re-worked and re-arranged to include within its text personal remarks by Nikki Wellsand so seems every bit to be an original piece of writing....and it isnot referenced!

But do not be deceived. Here below on the SCAA1 page...nearthe pretty pink image of Nikki, is a link that shows how the article has been altered, re-arranged and 'personalised' by Nikki, and presented as her very own work.

WHY NIKKI? Why would you stoop to stealing a professional researchers's work?

This, apart from being illegal and unethical, is dishonestand is an act of deliberate deception. WHY would you do such a thing?Why, even after you've had access to the advice of an academic of thestanding of Dr. Jodi Death, would you keep this article on your blogpresented as your own work?

When we have the answers to these questions we will also have the answer to "WHO IS NIKKI WELLS"?
