How Far Does The Catholic Cover Up Go?

Gillard committed a mortal sin according to Catholic beliefs in that she is bringing shame and scandal onto the Catholic church - if history shows us anything it is that the cover up reaches into all places on this planet in some form and has immense influence and control in places of power.

History will show these two aspects (Gillards Atheism and her establishment of the Royal Commission) have had far greater influence on her ousting than anything else speculated on publicly.

The Rudd issue was certainly a catalyst in the whole episode. While Gillard gave us a Royal Commission Rudd traded the right to justice of survivors of childhood sexual abuse by catholic clergy back to the Vatican on the occasion of the Pope's visit - this aspect of the cover up has been running longer than this country has been a Democracy.

Are we to believe that as a result of the calling of a Royal Commission that all aspects and undertakings of the Catholic Cover Up have come to an immediate and shuddering halt? Considering the activities in Canada, Ireland the US, Germany and other European countries of the Cover Up and its ability to suppress change and to protect the abuser through blocking of laws such as the Statute of Limitations laws and through actively extending the extent of exemption from the law on a broader range of issues and topics.

A willingness  for the Cover Up to manage and control at a political level is evident in each of those countries and in fact is evident in every country where the Catholic Church exists; are we to believe that Australia is immune from the Cover Up or are we simply seeing the Cover Up Australian style?
