Queensland Attorney-General Kerry Shine has revealed that of the 383 people who have applied for compensation, 156 cases have been settled. But 48 people have been deemed ineligible for compensation.
Mr Shine declined to reveal how much compensation had been paid, saying it would jeopardise future negotiations.
